Doha-based photographer and student Karl Moreto recently captured these amazingly atmospheric shots in the old souqs/city centre area of Doha, near the Al Fardan Exchange bus terminal.

I asked the young Filipino shooter what inspired this set. Here’s what he had to say:

Actually our photography group here in Doha, Web Alliance of Radical Photographers (WARP), just had a Photo Walk for a Cause for the victims of Typhoon Sendong in the Philippines that affected and killed a lot of people during the day before Christmas.

My inspiration while taking this photos is the other side behind the luxurious country of Qatar.
